Je suis bien rentree a Melbourne, pas trop naze.
La douane n'a meme pas demande a voir ce que j'avais declare... A moi foies gras, mont d'or, saucissons, saucisses de foie et chocolats :)))))
Monday:
I'm back in Melbourne!
The customs didn't even ask to have a look at all the stuff I declared... Yeay!! So I have all my foies gras, mont d'or, saucissons, choclates, etc :))))
Mardi:
Reprise du taff.... Tout doucement... De la maison parce que je suppose qu'il ne doit y avoir personne au bureau (et toute seule au bureau je deprime moi!)
Sinon j'ai essaye de planifier ce que j'allais faire a Sydney pour le nouvel an et surtout d'ou j'allais regarder le feu d'artifice :))) .... Oui et bien ca parait simple dit comme ca mais quand on regarde sur le site internet officiel c'est une autre histoire... Alors non seulement les rues sont fermees aux voitures mais la ville en elle meme et les alentours sont carrements divises en lieux fermes ou un certains nombre de personnes seulement sont autorisees; une fois ce nombre atteint cet endroit ferme (genre 40 000 personnes a Dawes Point a The Rocks, etc http://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/nye/2009/VantagePoints/default.aspx). Ils precisent meme: 'For families with children, write your name and mobile phone number on your child’s arm so you can be contacted if your child becomes lost' (Pour les familles venant avec des enfants, ecrivez votre nom et numero de portable sur le bras de vos enfants pour que vous puissiez etre contactes s'ils se perdent). Non mais serieux, ou va-t-on??
Bref, du coup j'ai essaye d'avancer mon vol pour arriver le 30 au soir ou le 31 au matin et bosser de la bas mais c'etait un peu cher. Je garde donc mon vol qui atterri a 18h30.

Back to work... from home as there would be nobody in the office anyway...
During the evening I tried to have a look at what I wanted to do in Syndey this weekend and mainly where I wanted to watch the fireworks from... Well that sounds way much easier than what it is.... I expected the council to close the CBD streets to the cars but they are going to close big parts of the city and suburbs and only allow a certain amount of people to get in there. They're going to 'park people' basically and they even write 'For families with children, write your name and mobile phone number on your child’s arm so you can be contacted if your child becomes lost'... My god where am I going?!!??!?!
My flight is landing there at 6:30pm on the 31st. I tried to change it to arrive in the early morning or the day before to work from there but everything was pretty expensive... Oh well, we'll see....
