Jour d'arrivee - Marie au Cambodge S02E02 (09/12/2009)

Le vol:
Le vol s'est tres bien passe, j'ai mange de la bonne nourriture d'avion (ben ouais, je sais, c'est bizarre mais j'adore ca!) ET j'ai vu un film avec des cochons d'inde (G-Force).... Que demander de plus!

Everything went perfectly, got nice plane food (don't know why but love it everytime..) and watched a few movies including one with guinea pigs (G-Force).. :)

L'interieur est toujours en cours de reparation/restauration mais ca a deja beaucoup change/avance depuis que j'etais venue en Aout.
They are still working on the inside part of the building but it's already quite different compared to when I came in August.

Royal Palace

La croisiere!
Le but de cette croisiere est de voir le coucher du soleil sur le Royal Palace....
Ca s'est pas vraiment passe comme ca mais bon pour meme pas 2 euros l'heure....
Cruise:
I was supposed to see the sunset on the Royal Palace during this one hour cruise... It didn't really happen but it was still really nice and USD2....

Marche vers K'Nyay:
On my way to K'Nyay:Cambodian Shuttlecock:
Sur ma route, je vois des gens qui s'entrainent a un truc bizarre; le Cambodian Shuttlecock (Badminton Cambodgien)... Du coup, je m'arrete, je leur pose des questions, ils m'expliquent, on papote et j'essaye meme!
Le principe du Badminton Cambodgien: ils utilisent un espece de volant (comme au badminton) qui a un ressort a la base. Au lieu de le renvoyer avec une raquette, ils utilisent leurs pieds... Vous trouverez une video ici: http://www.sisowathquay.com/?p=19
On my way I saw a group of guys playing a wierd sport; the Cambodian Shuttlecock. I stopped, talked a bit with them, asked qestions and even tried to play!
The Cambodian Shuttlecock is like usual badminton except that they use a shuttlecock which has like a spring at the base and they use their feet to send it back... Have a look at this video: http://www.sisowathquay.com/?p=19
Dinner at K'Nyay:
K'Nyay est un super bon resto juste a cote de l'hotel. Curry de patates douces, citrouille et noix de coco, super bon, comme d'hab!
