I wanted to check out the sunrise, between 5am and 5:30am.... Well, in the end I was a bit too lazy and I just had a look outside at 5:30 before going back to bed O:)
Brekky:
Vue pendant le petit dej :) Trop trop beau!
So beautiful what I could see during breakfast! It's so peaceful..
Floating Village:
It is usually fishermen families that live in floating villages. Since Halong Bay is part of the UNESCO world heritage, fishing is forbidden in this area. Since then, the floating villages stayed based in the same areas but the fishermen have to go a bit further away to work.

On the way back to the Harbour:
It's over :( We're cruising back to the harbour to catch the bus (this journey still takes us few hours).
The views are once again amazing and the atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet...
An other floating village:
Pearl Shop:
Before heading to Hanoi we went to a pearl shop. They explained to us how to recognise fake pearls and the differences between sea water pearls and fresh water pearls.
Sur la route du retour vers Hanoi:
On the way back to Hanoi:
Hotel Thien Trang:
Because I stayed for the weekend in Vietnam for tourism purpuses, my comapny didn't pay for my last night in Hanoi. Hence I stayed in this hotel for AUD12.... The room was big with 2 beds and my own bathroom, I've seen cleaner places but it was alright and the owner was quite nice.
Soiree:
Evening:
I met up with Dinesh and we went to Green Tangerine for a cocktail, quite expensive but really nice. The food looks great as well but quite French and I wanted something local for my last night.
We then met up Julien at Madam Hien (really local, went there the week before with Dinesh).
Bun Oc; with fresh water snails, not bad, happy I had it for the experience but I doubt I'll have it again...
