Ce matin donc, debout a 4h du mat, taxi (parce qu'a cette heure la y'a pas de tram...) jusqu'a la gare pour prendre le bus pour l'aeroport... Bon cette fois je suis pas en retard, je suis meme carrement en avance! Mais alors c'est la premiere et derniere fois que je prends un vol aussi tot... Decolage a 7h... Petit arret a Brisbane, changement d'avion et me voila, 4h30 plus tard a Townsville pour prendre le ferry vers Magnetic Island! :)
Il fait bon, environ 30 degres, mais le ciel est couvert... Je suis venue un peu tot dans la saison, c'est la fin de la saison des pluies...
Up at 4am to grab a cab (no tram at that time!) to get to the station to get the bus to the airport... This time I'm reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaalllly supra early! I took off at 7am, had a stop over in Brisbane and 4h30 later I'm in Townsville!
It's warm (around 30 degrees) but I came a bit too early in the year; it's still the end of the wet season.

La plage!Ce que j'avais oublie c'est qu'ici c'est la fin de la saison des meduses donc il est conseille de ne se baigner que dans les filets a meduses.... Ou alors il faut porter un espece de combinaison de protection.....

Well, as I said before I came here a bit too early in the year cause it's the end of the wet season AND the end of the stingers season... So no swimming except in the stinger net or in a stinger suit.....
Tentative d'une marche pour aller a Balding Bay.... Je dis bien tentative parce que encore une fois, v'la les indications pour trouver et suivre le chemin... Ils sont nazes les Australiens pour donner indiquer les chemins ou routes a prendre.... J'ai du abandonner :(I tried.. Yes tried to go for a walk up to Balding Bay.... Well I'm really really sorry but Aussies are really bad with signs, whether you're driving or trying to follow a path.... Anyway, couldn't find the path so I ended up giving up.
