Visite du vieux marche de Siem Reap avec Sarah, achat et degustation de pleins de desserts!
Back in the Old Market with Sarah this time. We bought and tried lots of deserts :)
Premier test de la journee: ce que la dame coupe. Un rouleau de pate de banane, pate de haricots rouges et riz sucre, hum - First trial, what the lady is cutting for us; a layer of bean paste, a layer of banana paste and a layer of sweet rice. Quite nice :)
Deuxieme essai, le gateau jaune en bas. Je pense que c'est un gateau a base de riz et de lait. Agreablement surprenant - Second trial, the yellow desert on the picture. I think it was like a rice and milk desert. The consistency was a bit surpring but it was quite good :)
Troisieme essai, en bas a gauche, mixture de bananes, lait et je me souviens plus quoi. Pas mauvais mais pas vraiment ma tasse de the vu que je n'aime pas le lait!!!! - Third trial, the desert at the bottom left (banana, milk and can't remember the name of this thing). It was ok but I don't like milk....
Ouh, et a ce moment la j'ai retrouve le dessert dans la feuille de banane!!! (Souvenez vous, c'etait le 1er jour). Bon, ben finalement c'etait un peu decevant parce qu'ils etaient pas tout chaud comme quand j'en avais mange la premiere fois...It's at that point that I saw the banana leaf deserts!!!!! (Remember I tried one on my first day in Phnom Penh). Well they were ok but a bit disappointing probably because they weren't just out of the steam thingy this time.

I arrived at around 6:30 pm and went straight away to a guest house really close from the hotel I was staying in earlier (and where the rest Comverse crew is still staying).

J'ai retrouve Adrian, un collegue Australien pour aller diner.
