Je pensais voir le tombeau de Lenine... pas Lenine directement.. J'etais pas vraiment preparee psychologiquement... Donc voila j'ai vu Lenine, pour quelques secondes parce qu'on n'est uniquement autorise a marche autour du corps, il est interdit de s'arreter.
Le corps de Lenine a ete embaume et est expose depuis l'annee de sa mort en 1924. Le mausolee est maintenu a une temperature de 16,6°C, le taux d'humidite y est de 70 %. Selon une etude recente, apres plus de 80 ans de conservation, l'etat du corps de Lenine reste excellent....
I thought I would see Lenin's tomb... But I actually saw Lenin! It only lasted for a short period of time as we are only allowed to walk around the body but not to stop (and lots of policeman are making sure you don't!). Lenin's body has been on display since the year of his death in 1924. The Mausoleum is kept at 16,6°C and 70% of humidity. A recent study explained that the body was still in excellent conditions....

A sundial... Don't get it at all... Can someone explain to me how a sundial works... without any sun??? Just as a reminder; at that time, I had been in Moscow for 10 days and I hadn't seen the sun since then, even for a minute....

L'equivalent de notre Pere Lachaise, il a ete ouvert en 1849.
The cemetery holds the tombs of Russian authors, musicians, actors, political leaders, scientists, etc.

Sur la meme avenue que le Cafe Pushkin, un espace vert separe l'avenue sur toute sa longueur.
Outside of Cafe Pushkin and all along this big avenue, a large green space divides the cars going different ways.

Deuxieme tentative d'aller a la patinoire de la Place Rouge... Cette fois, nous n'avons pas pu entrer parce que c'etait une soiree privee....
Second attempt to go skating on Red Square... We couldn't get in because that night was like a private/special night for whatever uni....

Pour la premiere fois nous sommes alles a Soup, pas loin de l'hotel pour diner.... Et il y aura bien d'autres soirees tardives a Soup par la suite...
First time we went to Soup, close from the hotel... And it won't be a one time visit! We had quite a few late nights there with Romain and Carlos (my colleague from the US).
