Cette partie de Jaipur a ete peinte en rose pour feter la visite du Prince of Wales en 1876. Depuis cette date, chaque annee, les batiments sont repeints en rose. Dans ce quartier, des dizaines de bazars …. De quoi faire du shopping :)

Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal signifie Palais des vents. Il a ete construit en 1799. Son emplacement, son orientation et son grand nombre de fenetres ont ete penses afin d’obtenir un vent naturel ou que l’on se trouve dans ce palais, d’où son nom !

Comme vous allez le constater, j’ai pas vraiment eu de chance puisque la facade etait en ravalement !
Hawa Mahal means the Wind Palace. It has been built in 1799. The place where it has been built and its orientation have been chosen so that wherever you are inside of this Palace, it would always be windy.
