The cyclone being declared force 5, our visit at the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat was cancelled, most of the touristy places were closed to prepare and secure everything that needed to be. Only the crocodile park we went to the previous day was opened in the morning, thank god the entry is a 3 day pass!
A lot of cabin fever to come....
Entre Port Douglas et Hartley's Crocodile Adventures:
Jolies vues sur la route.

Nice views on the road.
Hartley's Crocodile Adventures!
Crocodile farm (Apparently, by having a farm for crocodile meat and skin, it protects the wild crocodiles..)

Cyclone Ita....
3pm, return to the serviced apartment... From then, waiting for and monitoring the cyclone travel.... We're ready; water in all our containers, torch from the reception, tuna, fruits and tinned veg.... We almost went to the shelter (due to the national news making people freaking out way much more than they need to!)
Early sleep, feeling less stressed but still wondering what was going to wake us up! And also wondering how long we were going to be stuck in the serviced apartment!
