J'ai appris plein de choses sur cette cathedrale parce qu'une petite mamie m'a raconte toute son histoire! La cathedrale a ete construite sur genre 100 ans (a partir des annees 1890). Le porche de l'entree n'a ete bati et fini il n'y a qu'une dizaine d'annees! Les cerf volants sont en exposition pour le 150eme anniversaire du Queensland (6 juin 2009).
Brisbane est la capitale de l'etat du Queensland. Il y a seulement 150 ans que le Queensland a ete cree, avant, cet etat faisait partie de l'etat du New South Whales.
I learnt all sorts of stuff about this cathedral as a granma there was happy to tell me a bit of the cathedral's story! Basically, it took around 100 years to build it... They got the main entrance done only around 10 years ago! The kites are there as an exhibition to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Queensland.

Brisbane est traversee par la Brisbane River (ouais, ils se sont bien creuse la tete pour trouver un nom!). Le city cat fait partie des transports en commun de Brisbane. Les gens utilisent ce ferry comme les parisiens utilisent le metro!
J'ai donc pris le City Cat pour avoir une vue differente de la ville et je dois dire que ca m'a bien plu. Je me vois bien prendre le city cat tous les matins pour aller au boulot!
The Brisbane River crosses Brisbane. The City Cat is a quite popular public transport there.
I could really easily imagine myself taking the city cat everyday to go to work!

Greenfest in the Botanic Gardens:Je me promenais dans les jardins botaniques quand je suis tombee par hasard sur la Greenfest (marches, musique, etc).
I was walking around in the Botanic Gardens when I bumped into 'Greenfest'. I stayed there for a bit to listen to the music and to have a look at the market :)

En resume ca m'a bien plu Brisbane, mignon, tres beau temps (25 degres alors qu'il devait faire a peu pres 15 a Melbourne!!!!) et ambiance relax.J'ai eu une journee bien remplie en tous cas!
Sum up: I really liked Brissy :) Nice weather (around 25 when it was 15 in Melbourne!), relaxed, etc
